Ella Sheridan delivers a solid start to her new Southern Nights series with  Teach Me!  Let's see, one HOT ex-military guy, one Vulnerable woman looking for a protector, and one CRAZY as hell stalker equals damn fine reading.  

This book is insanely good from the very start, especially when crazy Brit shows on the scene and threatens Jess's life.  Having no where to run and afraid for her life, Jess makes every effort to hold her head high while challenging Brit on his claim that she belongs to him.  While being backed into a corner, Jess has no idea the sexy bad boy she's been eying in the coffee shop will be the one to run Brit off.  Feeling grateful and just a bit shy, Jess is unprepared for Conlan to offer her a card to a local security firm as a way to help her deal with Brit.

Conlan just can't help himself from the draw of Jess.  Even though he has sworn off relationships and love, something about the "doe eyed" woman just drives him crazy.  Resigned to accept that he need not go there, Con is surprised to see Jess being stalked in the parking lot by a man that doesn't seem to want to take no for an answer.  Helping her run the jerk off was easy, shaking the affect she has on his heart is not!

I really enjoyed Teach Me particularly because Sheridan doesn't shy away from allowing the heroine to get hurt.  In most Romantic Suspense stories, the hero somehow always saves the day with little or no harm being done to the heroine.  Well this story is quite different and gives the characters more depth.  If you enjoy Romantic Suspense, pick up a copy of Teach Me.  I'm giving this one 4 Sweltering Keys.
