Book Review:

I am so happy that Kane was able to get his happily ever after. This dude has had it bad since the demon Disaster entered his body. Kane feels so much like an outcast because he causes havoc everywhere he goes.When Josephina rescued him from Hell, Kane was a mess. Those minions really screwed him up and Disaster loved every minute of it. Josephina was so over her role in the family that the only thing she asked of Kane was for him to kill her after she was able to save his life. Like all the Lords, Kane started feeling some kind of way quickly for Josephina but because of what the minions did to him he just couldn't see them working. One thing Kane was determine about though was to make sure that Josephina did not get her wish of dying. We got a chance to learn a lot about our little half-Fae. Poor Josephina is a blood slave. Every time her half-sister did something unseemly for a royal, Josephina had to take her punishment. It didn't help that the sister had a demon inside her that she was not trying to control.(Spoiled brat) Kane and Josephina had a lot to work through to make there relationship work. Kane was able to find a way to kill his demon but it came with a huge drawback that Josephina was not happy about. I like Josephina because Kane was able to tell her what the minion did to him sexually and she did not think or treat him differently for it. Kane really needed that support. William being William thought it would be a good idea for Kane to bang every chick he could get his hands on to replace the bad memory....ummm no. We got a glimpse of Maddox's twins. The baby girl is in love with William of course and the baby boy is very protective of his sister. They both are cautious of Kane. But in the end, Kane does not have to worry about Maddox's babies not feeling friendly toward him because he gets his own surprise at the end. YAY KANE AND JOSEPHINA!

Overall the book gets 3 Notes and 2 Flames. The storyline was good but the books are starting to be similar. Unfortunately, I notice that with a lot of series when they get about 5 plus books deep the story-lines somewhat repeat. There was also some heat but due to Kane's experience in Hell, things didn't get to the point where I needed a new pair of panties. LOL.
