It's Tag Crane's job to be the life of the party. Traveling from one exotic locale to another is just part of running the luxurious Crane Hotel empire. But even paradise isn't perfect. Devising a new business strategy is keeping Tag up at night-and so is the Great Dane barking at all hours in the apartment below his. To muzzle the problem, Tag charges downstairs . . . right into the most beautiful, blond distraction he's ever seen.Jessica Lemmon is one of my favorite authors for feel good reads with just a hint of comedy. I knew after reading The Billionaire Bachelor that Tag's book was going to be awesome, and boy did Jessica deliver on this one. Not only did she create a heroine that gave Tag a run for his money, but she created one that made Tag fall in love without him having a clue, and one that didn't feel the need to fall at his rich feet!
Dog-sitting by day, bartending by night. It's not exactly the life Rachel Foster dreamed of. But when Tag Crane rushes in, all mountain-man shoulders and obscenely sexy smile, needing her help for the Crane Hotels, it's a fantasy come true. What's the harm in a fun no-strings fling? Only a fool would give her heart to a billionaire player like Tag-until suddenly the one man who can't be caught is the one flirting with forever . . .
Rachel is a good strong heroine that believed in earning her own way even when Tag tried to make it easy for her. She was smart, spunky, and wasn't afraid to put Tag in his place. Tag is your typical bad boy player that lives life on the edge and isn't afraid to walk away from a woman when she dares to get too close. He enters into an arrangement with Rachael that he thinks is only temporary. Boy was he wrong!
There was so much I loved about this overall story including the lovable Great Dane Adonis! I loved that Jessica Lemmon didn't make it easy for Tag to just play the same games he always played with other women when he was with Rachel. I loved that Rachel made him work for her heart, and I loved loved loved that she didn't just fall at his feet. This was a delightful fun read. I'm giving this one 5 sweltering keys!
