Cynthia Eden is the queen of Romantic Suspense and I just can't seem to get enough of her "Stalkerish" series with super HOT alpha men, strong but harassed women, and crazy as HELL creepy villains.   Watch Me is the first book in her new delicious  Dark Obsession Series that features a trio of personal security specialists and the victims they protect against the crazies in the world.  Eden plans to release one book per month starting with Chance's book in December and the next two in January and February.

Watch Me centers around Chance Valentine and Gwen Hawthorne.  Chance was Gwen's personal bodyguard while working for her father until Christmas Eve a year ago, the two give in to their mutual passion for one another and share a scorching kiss.  Thrown by Gwen's attraction towards him and his loyalty and respect for her father, Chance pushes Gwen away.  Now Chance has started his own security firm with his two partners, Lex and Dev.  When Will Hawthorne pays Chance a visit to tell him Gwen is being hunted by a killer and needs his protection, Chance will stop at nothing to make sure Gwen stays alive.

Gwen can't believe Chance has shown back up in her life and seemingly just in the nick of time.  When she decides to put her trust in him, she has no idea her father hired him to do the job.  Will the truth make her run in the other direction, or will she stop running and fight for what she really wants.....to live a life with Chance.

I loved all the elements in Watch Me!  Eden did her usual slow build to the reveal of the criminal mastermind and even though I pretty much had it figured 3/4 the way into the book, the action and suspense were still through the roof.  I'm also intrigued to see what will happen with Lex's attraction to the fiery lawyer Sophie.  Somehow me thinks that chick will find herself into some serious trouble requiring Lex to save the day! I'm giving Watch Me 4 Sweltering Keys!
