Title: The Keeper's Revenge
Series: The Keeper Series (Book 2)
Author: O.L. Ramos
Genre: Paranormal Romance

Book Description (from Amazon):

If the world you lived in was someday revealed to be nothing but a lie, would you really want the truth? Elizabeth McBeth did, and she's paid the price for it...

After almost 10 years since Liz's mother was taken from her, Liz finally found her mother, Mary. But Mary has been forever changed, something that Liz will have to accept. The beginning of happier times, one would think...

The conspiracy has been exposed; Liz, Vincent, Mary and Michael had all thought that the vampire plot had been destroyed. They should have never underestimated Klein.

Klein has reinforced his armies, splitting the entire vampire species with the question... is Klein the vampiric messiah? Unfortunately for the heroes and the world itself, Klein has set in motion a plan that will destroy the world and recreate it in his own image.

Will the group be able to defeat Klein and restore the balance to nature? Or are they already doomed?

Drawn Together (Brown Siblings, #6)Title:  Drawn Together
Series:  Brown Siblings (Book 6)
Author:  Lauren Dane
Genre:  Contemporary Romance

I have been a HUGE fan of the Brown Siblings series by Lauren Dane for quite some time and was sooooo disappointed when I discovered she was ending the series with Adrian's book Never Enough and not giving Raven her due.  Well imagine my surprise when I was prowling Goodreads looking for something new to read, and I discovered that Ms. Dane was indeed going to give Raven a book!  Drawn Together is most definitely a fitting end to the series and Raven was given the HEA she so desperately deserved!

For long-time followers of the series, you are well aware that Raven is a raving BITCH and has frequently come across as brass, nasty, snooty, and sometimes just downright mean to some of our more favorite characters in the series.  But underneath her tough exterior is a beautiful soul that desperately wants to be loved and accepted but she just doesn't know how to go about it. Having forged bonds with both Erin and Brody, Raven is content with showing only those two people who she really is inside, and had no clue that her newest client would make her break every rule she has ever set for herself.

Hola Chickies!  Our SINsual Sunday quote this week comes from the fabulous Kristen Ashley's latest book Jagged!  Nope, I'm not finished yet but that doesn't mean I can't share the awesomeness!

“You say another goddamned word, I’ll kiss you quiet, drag your ass into the office, fuck you on the goddamned desk, and do it until you’re so exhausted, you can’t speak and then we’ll talk seein’ as I’m the one who’s got somethin’ to say.” ~Graham to Zara in Jagged by Kristen Ashley

Scandal

Scandal this week starts with Huck and Jake stealing something off Olivia's dad's computer. Cooper from Private Practice is on the show as Fritz's new potential campaign manager. Well that's what Fritz and Millie were aiming for, but it didn't quite work out. Olivia is representing Josie as her campaign manager for president. Josie has a huge secret! Chick had a baby as a teen and she wants Olivia to cover it up pretty much so it doesn't come up while she runs for president. On the mission to find Josie's baby, the team is interviewing people that were close enough to the family to know about the baby. While the team was out investigating, word gets out that the White House has sent their team out to also find the baby. The team discovered that the baby was not adopted but Josie's mother raised the baby to be her sister. At the campaign debate, the competition tried to throw Josie under the bus about the baby but it didn't work. Josie took that time to talk about the baby but while speaking her "sister" figured out that she is said baby. After the debate, Olivia comments to Josie that she handles the situation beautifully but Josie did not think the same and fired her.

Archangel's Legion (Guild Hunter, #6)Title: Archangel's Legion
Series:  Guild Hunter (Book 6)
Author:  Nalini Singh
Narrator:  Justine Eyre
Genre:  Paranormal Romance/Urban Fantasy

FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC is the only way to describe the phenomenal writing Nalini Singh displays in her latest book, Archangel's Legion.  This was by far the best book in the series and rounding out to be my favorite read of 2013 thus far!  This review will be short because I refuse to give away any of the gooey morsels held within mostly because you MUST experience them for yourself.

In Archangel's Legion we find Elena and Raphael continuing to grow as a couple and Elena steadily gaining more strength and confidence in her new barely immortal status.  Singh does an awesome job of bringing previous characters to the forefront and also advancing some of the more elusive story lines.  We gain more insight into Elena's family heritage with a shocking discovery that will lead readers to see her father Jeffrey in a new light and maybe even forgive his past discretionary treatment of Elena.  We also learn whether Vivek is a viable candidate for becoming a vampire and his reaction to discovering Elena requested he be tested.  Additionally, readers are treated to the beauty of the new and blossoming relationship with Elena's younger hunter born sister Eve as the two sisters fight to find common ground among Jeffrey's hatred of their unique gifts.
