November Rockin Monthly Releases!

Welcome to another addition of Rockin Monly Releases with Diaries of 2 Thick Chicks!  This month there is just soooooooo much to look forward to in my reading world, it's like Christmas comes to me 1 month early!


1st up is one from one of our favorite authors, Kristen Ashley!  Jagged is book 5 in the Colorado Mountain Series and if it's anything like the others in the series, it will be AWESOME!!!  I'm looking forward to getting my hands on this one this week.  Celie has not found time to catch up with this particular series and I'm so looking forward to inspiring (ummmm bullying her) into reading this one while home for the holidays so that we can discuss!  Anywho, if you love KA like I do, you know this one will be full of alpha goodness so pick up a copy.  This one releases November 5th.


This next one is from another one of our favorite authors, Thea Harrison!  Kinked is book 5 in the Elder Races series that features sexy hot dragons, wyrs, harpies and so much more!  This one is Aryal and Quentin's love story and it promises to be full of foul mouth quips, outright denial of feelings, and super smokin HOT!  When featured together is earlier books, Quentin and Aryal have always been at odds but now they must work together as Quentin has just been named as one of Dragos's new Sentinals.  Oh what a wonderful ride this will be especially if you choose to partake with the audiobook version as I have always done.  Sophie Eastlake always does an excellent job of narrating the books.  This one also comes out on November 5th. 

These next few books are either on our "to read" list or one of us has at least gotten through the first book. Consumed is book 2 in the Devoured series by Emily Snow. I personally have not had the pleasure but Celie has and loved the first book. Consumed continues the love story of Lucas and Sienna and takes readers on a ride through the trouble and turmoil associated with a new relationship.  Sienna struggles to find her place in Lucas's life while also dealing with his nasty ex-wife constant taunts.  If you like the first book, check this one out.  It released on November 1st.

Christina Lauren continues her successful Beautiful Bastards series with Beautiful Beginning.  I personally listened to and loved the first book in the series Beautiful Bastard and Celie recently finished book 2 Beautiful Stranger and she loved loved lovvvvvved it!  Considering the success of Lauren, it is highly probably that we will also love Beautiful Beginning.  This one releases on November 18th so check it out. If you haven't started the series yet.....ummm what'cha waiting for!

These next 3 will get honorable mentions because they are written by authors we love, however we haven't found the time to get caught up in the awesomeness of these new reads.  Sylvia Day is releasing Aftershock, book 2 in her After Burn and Aftershock series.  I haven't had the pleasure to check out the first book but he covers look HOT.  This one releases November 12th.

All the Pretty Little Lies by M. Leighton is another one we just haven't gotten too but have loved other books, (clears throat...Bad Boys Series) written by her.  This one also looks like it would be worth my while to pick up but........I'll let you fill in the blank here!  All the Pretty Little Lies releases November 12th.

Darkness Splintered by Keri Arthur is one of those series that you always would like to read but it's a spin-off to another series and your personal OCD will not allow you to start this series until you read the first because you don't want to miss anything.  Whew that was a mouth full.  These book covers have always made me want to run out and pick up a copy but I just can't bring myself to do it because I need to read the other series first.  Have you read it?  Drop me a line and let me know if I can skip to this one because the book covers appeal to my inner reading goddess and she wants inside these books!  Darness Splintered releases November 5th.


This last one I want to read just because it features bikers.....need I say more?  Just look at the book cover!  Redemption is book 2 in the Defiance series by Stephanie Tyler.  The cover like the first book Defiance is HOT and I'm itching to get my hands on a copy of the first book to see if the inside is as good as the outside.
